Emmet County, local governments pilot statewide coastal training program
Emmet County and other local governments in northern Michigan are participating in a pilot program that may help provide resources and training to Michigan communities facing coastal erosion issues. The initiative is led by the Michigan Association of Planners and helps communities in the state draft long-term plans for maintaining coastline resiliency.
