Whatever happened to Milwaukee’s ‘Love Rock’?

If you visited the shores of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee in the 1970s and ’80s, chances are you saw it: a wedge of concrete about 3,000 feet off Bradford Beach, with the word “LOVE” painted on its side in big capital letters.
