Ice-breaking operations in Midland, Ontario Harbour are expected around March 18 to open the Great Lakes shipping routes around March 22. The Canada Steamship Lines bulk carrier MV Frontenac is expected to move from her winter mooring at the ADM Mill in Midland Harbour after a Canadian Coast Guard ice breaker clears a path in from the open waters of Georgian Bay.
