LSSU opens its freshwater research center

Lake Superior State University has officially opened its $14.2-million Richard and Theresa Barch Center for Freshwater Research and Education. The two-story 18,000-square-foot building includes the Great Lakes Discovery Center, and space for National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Michigan Sea Grant.
